I took the test supplied by 'our' ABC at https://www.abc.net.au/news/vote-compass/ and it turns out I should be voting for One Nation. Go figure.......

Just took the test also. What a load of rubbish.

I too apparently should be voting One Nation but won't (nor for Liberals).

Why they selectively chose One Nation as a "major" party is unclear.

Just took the test too. I'm improving. Last time, some years ago, they said I was green. This time I'm in between LNP and PHON

However, I note a lot of the questions are biased or misleading. EG "the govt should pay the full cost of family doctor visits". It should be "the govt should pay the full cost of visits to a private practice".

Or more appropriately,

the govt should pay the full cost of family doctor visits

only for those who can't afford it.

The Libs never showed any sign they wanted to win

I often wish political parties were precluded, from the 2nd anniversary of prior election, from announcing any new proposals pertaining to:

1) any spending increase;

2) and tax decrease.

If it's good policy, why keep secret?

Unfortunately, such law should not be necessary...if we had quality politics.

Cheers

Let's start with pay increases that vote for don't take effect until AFTER an election. As is done in the US. Perhaps why their politicians and bureaucrats aren't paid the stupid amounts Australian ones are.
