Tax cuts are not a cost
Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the forecast cost of the stage 3 tax cuts has risen and will now cost the nation around $254 billion over 10 years.
Apart from the fact that a tax cut is not a cost, in as much as reduction in spending is not a tax increase, Dr Chalmers is at it again. But others can play this game also.
