Government Lobbying

In my opinion, it is a poor reflection on the state of national affairs that there exists a profession of lobbying. The notion that private actors need to engage with government to shape their regulatory environment is evidence that government is waaay too big and powerful.

Much worse is that government lobbying is a self perpetuating cancer.
