calling for a 3.5 per cent increase to the minimum wage for millions of workers – more than double the broader wage growth – as the economy recovers from the pandemic.

What is an extra 3.5% on nil? It’s still nil. The minimum wage is and always be nil. What the unions are talking about is the statutory wage.
