Did Superman cause rising sea levels?
Ok. It’s a public holiday. Taking it easy. Flicking through Foxtel and come upon the 1978 classic Superman. With Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman and Christopher Reeve. And written by Mario Puzo of Godfather fame.
Spoiler Alert.
Well, early on in the move, young Clark Kent leaves home to find himself and finds himself at what looks like the North Pole. Lots of ice and cold.
He takes out of his bag the green crystal left for him by his real father, Jor-El, he throws its. It lands and starts melting the ice. The water starts boiling and out of the ice comes the Fortress of Solitude.
Not lots of ice was melted and water released. Is it possible, just maybe, that’s its not carbon but rather Superman and his Fortress of Solitude that have caused rising sea levels and climate change.
Watch for yourself. It’s no YouTube so the science must be settled.
Come on. You know it makes sense.
