ABC IHI (in house idiot)

According to an ABC expert, the US healthcare system is “terrible” because doctors earn too much and because low and middle income taxes are too low.

If only there was one - ABC in house idiot (IHI) that is.

In a long list of potential candidates, the IHI of the month award must go to former Chaser, current tax payer idler Chas Licciardello.

Let’s go to the audio tape.

In the 2024 Year in Review eposide of ABC Communist Corner, also known as Late Night Live, David Marr hosted Chas and two other people. Their names don’t matter because they all spoke nonsense and agreed with each other.

But the issue is that good old Chas claims to be the ABC’s “cohost of Planet America”. Seemingly the ABC’s expert on America, its politics and policies.

Big call. Big, big call.

Any, around 44 mins into this “interview” came up the subject of the US healthcare system. Let’s go to the transcript from Professor Chas:

The reason the reason that healthcare is terrible in America … there are 2 main reasons.

Yes. A world class system is terrible according to Chase because of 2 reasons. Not 1, not 3, not 300, but 2.

Does not matter that most healthcare innovation happens in America. Does not matter that those who can afford it go to America for world class treatment.

No. According to Chas, who has probably never directly experienced the US health care system but has declared it terrible. And terrible because of 2 reasons.

And what maybe these 2 reason? As above.

• Doctors are paid too much; and

• US taxes, especially on the lower and middle class, are too low.

This is the ABC’s US expert’s solution.

Nothing to do with the long term consequences of Roosevelt’s regulations of salaries during WW2. Nothing to do with the insurance costs driven by the class action lawyers who, with the teachers unions OWN the US Democratic party. Nothing to do with the policy of the US Democratic party to give free healthcare to undocumented aliens.

No. It’s all about doctors earning too much and taxes being too low.

Regulate doctor salaries and increase taxes.

The solution, communism, it self evident.
