This is Tony Cook, Secretary of the Commonwealth Department of Education.
Last year, Tony collected a salary of $962,959.
Commonwealth Department of Education looked after ZERO primary and secondary students across ZERO schools. Add in some ZERO TAFE students.
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
A guy who oversees not a single school or the teaching of a single student, gets paid 50% more than someone who looks after close to 1 million kids.
Not just 50% more, but a $1 millions.
